Crab Pasta

Serves 4.
 
1 can MILLER’S SELECT or SEA FARE JUMBO LUMP CRAB MEAT (drained)
1 tbsp. each olive oil and unsalted butter
8 oz fresh Porcini or other mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup each red and green bell pepper
1/4 cup onion
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 tbsp. parsley (minced)
1/2 tsp. each dried basil and oregano (1 ½ tsp. fresh)
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1/3 cup cream (1/3 cup chicken broth may be substituted)
12 oz. fettuccini or other pasta
 
Sauté mushrooms, peppers, onions and garlic in melted butter and olive oil until soft. Add herbs and salt and pepper to taste. Stir in cream or chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Gently add crab meat and warm slightly. Serve over cooked pasta with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
